About Me

I am a 24-year-old artist and archivist from Chicago, now based in Brooklyn, New York. My practice is rooted in a deep interest in analog media—film, photographs, and the physical remnants of memory. After graduating with a BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute, I began working in film labs where I have the privilege of processing and scanning other people’s film. Outside of my own image creation and professional work, I spend my personal time practicing archival and preservation techniques. Since my grandfather’s passing, I have been digitizing and restoring his extensive collection of film and photographs. I also collect and scan found film from thrift stores, exploring memories that aren’t mine and fragments of lives I’ve never known. My work is driven by a desire to preserve the past and find meaning in what time leaves behind. Through scanning, cleaning, and cataloging these old artifacts, I’m able to preserve not only the physical materials but the memories they hold—stories of a life lived, of places and people long gone.
